Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and prepare IV solutions under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage prescription refill requests
- Maintain inventory and perform stock rotation for controlled substances
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician license
- PTCB or ExCPT certification required
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Detail-oriented with proven accuracy in medication handling
