Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and stock rotation protocols
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing discrepancies
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure prescription records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on medication therapy
- Operate pharmacy technology systems (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and drug interactions
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and automation systems
- CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
