Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage medication inventory control and ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and patient billing inquiries
- Prepare sterile compounds and IV medications following safety protocols
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and documentation
- Provide exceptional patient education on medication usage
- Coordinate with healthcare providers on prescription fulfillment
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- CPhT certification strongly encouraged
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume environments
