Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and long-term facilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient education on health conditions and self-care management
- Respond to medical emergencies with swift assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and flexible schedules
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC, Cerner)
- Valid CPR certification
