Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Participate in rapid response teams and emergency interventions
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 3+ years acute care)
- BLS/ACLS certification; PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience in Med/Surg or ICU
- Proven expertise in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
