Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and facility protocols
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and monitor treatment outcomes
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and document patient records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with clinical expertise
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency preferred
