Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units based on department needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control and safety regulations strictly
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (compact license accepted)
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing (ADN/BSN required)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner experience a plus)
