Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient safety as the priority
- Monitor and document patient vitals, symptoms, and treatment responses using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management, medications, and post-discharge care
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with decisive clinical interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and JCAHO regulations
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse license in good standing
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years of experience considered
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or specialty nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred for certain units
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC experience highly valued)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
