Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during overnight shifts with rapid response capabilities
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor vital signs and document patient status accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in emergency response procedures and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS/ACLS certification required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg)
- Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) including weekends
