Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies with swift, evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment protocols
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs while maintaining quality control standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (compact license acceptable)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience with night shift preference
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
