Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Precept and mentor new nursing staff during shift rotations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the night shift
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license in good standing
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ER/ICU preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS a plus
- Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and shift schedules
