Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment interventions during night shift hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with swift, clinical expertise
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior nursing staff and uphold highest standards of patient safety
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact license with quick GA application)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN degree strongly preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong communication skills and dedication to patient-centered care
