Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate care and stabilization.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- License: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
