Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Step-Down
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and JCAHO compliance standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications; PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic systems preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
