Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with critical decision-making skills
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN preferred; ADN with 3+ years of acute care experience considered
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS required for critical care roles
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment and intervention
- Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
