Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units with critical focus on assessment, monitoring, and intervention
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency care per protocols and physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation and regulatory compliance
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (or compact license with WA residency)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS or TNCC a plus
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
