Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain comprehensive electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with best practices
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Florida RN license (or compact state license with ability to obtain FL license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
