Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in fast-paced cardiac and telemetry units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Document patient assessments and care progress accurately
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN or higher preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience (cardiovascular preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Certification in specialty area (e.g., CCRN) a plus
