Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts in diverse medical units
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (Arizona)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in medical/surgical or telemetry
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- Flexibility to rotate between units as needed
