Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals, document health status changes, and collaborate with care teams
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for diverse patient populations
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, JCAHO, and facility protocols
- Precept new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Oklahoma (compact license accepted)
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing with 2+ years acute care experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekends and holidays
