Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in condition.
- Document clinical findings and patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge planning support.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN License in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required by the role.
