Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and taking comprehensive medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on clinical judgment and established standards of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and strict hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Monitor patient progress and document all care activities, responses, and changes in condition accurately.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
