Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures at all times
- Participate in emergency response protocols and rapid deployment during critical incidents
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in hospital settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation for facility assignments
