Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake and preliminary health assessments
- Prepare and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist providers with telemedicine patient consultations
- Coordinate lab orders, referrals, and prescription management
- Implement infection control protocols for remote patient interactions
- Provide patient education materials and follow-up communications
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong telemedicine platform familiarity (Zoom Health, Doxy.me)
- Excellent communication skills with empathetic patient approach
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to travel to Jacksonville for quarterly in-service training
- HIPAA compliance knowledge and data security awareness
