Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls via phone and triage based on urgency and medical necessity
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate patient care pathways
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding self-care or emergency protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and organizational policies
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for complex cases
- Monitor patient flow and communicate with clinical staff
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- BSN preferred
