Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and determine acuity levels in emergency settings
- Triage incoming calls and patients using standardized protocols and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient flow
- Document patient interactions and medical histories accurately in EMR systems
- Provide critical health education and discharge instructions to patients
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Ohio
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- ACLS/BLS certification (required) and TNCC preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal communication skills in high-stress environments
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends
