Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgency and prioritize care
- Provide clear medical guidance via phone and telehealth platforms
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for streamlined patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Delicate crisis intervention for critical and emergency cases
- Train and mentor junior nursing staff on triage protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (FL) with minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Spanish/English bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
- Ability to work high-pressure shifts with minimal supervision
- BSN or higher degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Strong communication and de-escalation abilities
