Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Maintain accurate resident records and care documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure resident wellbeing
- Create engaging social interactions to enhance residents' quality of life
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in geriatric care or assisted living
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans precisely
- Physical ability to perform lifting/transfers up to 50 lbs
