Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs).
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene needs.
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring all dietary restrictions are respected.
- Document patient care activities and any changes in condition in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the state of New Mexico.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
