Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Communicate any changes in a resident's physical or emotional condition to the charge nurse or supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with facility sanitation standards.
- Participate in restorative care programs and activities to promote resident mobility and engagement.
- Document care provided accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the state of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
