Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure their hygiene and comfort.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Patient Mobility: Safely assist patients with moving, transferring, and positioning to prevent falls and injuries.
- Medication Assistance: Support patients with medication reminders and administration as directed by nursing staff.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care logs.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status changes to the nursing team and family members.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient needs and assist during medical emergencies.
Qualifications
- Active CNA Certification: Must hold a current, unencumbered CNA license in the state of Texas.
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Compassion: Strong empathy and a genuine desire to help patients.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow medical protocols and safety regulations strictly.
