We are looking for a reliable professional who can provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive environment during the weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent injury.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and physicians regarding patient conditions and changes in status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment in accordance with health department standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the Registered Nurse within scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Illinois CNA License required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
