Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
- Administer medications and document patient responses and care plans in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team, physicians, and families regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and visitors.
- Support patients emotionally and provide companionship during their stay.
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA Certification (CNA 1) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
