Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support daily living activities while maintaining patient dignity and privacy
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments and equipment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with potential holiday coverage
- Pass background check and drug screening
