Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and timely.
- Assist with mobility and safely transfer patients using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition or behavioral issues to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Document all care activities and patient interactions in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the state of Arizona.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations as required.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with electronic charting systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (optional, depending on role).
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
