Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Engage residents in meaningful social and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate resident records and care documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure resident-centered care
- Adhere to all state and federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Current Oregon CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with potential holiday coverage
- Passionate commitment to geriatric care ethics
- Background clearance and negative TB test required
