Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation
- Collaborate with RNs on care plans and patient assessments
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and emergency interventions
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1-year hospital experience preferred
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat/Sun)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Knowledge of EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Spanish fluency highly desirable
