Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely patient vital signs, height, and weight measurements.
  • Assist physicians and providers during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
  • Prepare and administer medications and injections as authorized by providers.
  • Draw blood samples and manage phlebotomy specimens for the laboratory.
  • Update and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) with current patient information.
  • Coordinate patient discharge instructions, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
