Responsibilities
Perform patient intake, vitals, and initial assessments accurately.Assist physicians and nursing staff during examinations and procedures.Prepare and maintain medical records and laboratory specimens.Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of examination rooms.Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans.
Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent degree.Valid New York State Medical Assistant license.Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.Strong computer literacy and EHR experience (e.g., Epic, Cerner).Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
