Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned unit (ER, Med/Surg, ICU)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment
- Educate patients/families on discharge plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license (required)
- BSN or ADN with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience in weekend/holiday shift scheduling
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
