Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive telehealth assessments and patient consultations during weekend shifts
- Monitor and manage patient health data using our proprietary virtual care platform
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Respond to urgent patient inquiries and escalate critical situations appropriately
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for high-acuity patient cases
- Maintain clinical competency through ongoing training and skill development
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives for remote care delivery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care or telehealth
- BLS/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Weekend availability required (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Experience in chronic disease management or case management preferred
