Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assessments in assigned units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Implement patient care plans and education
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility for 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
