Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care in ICU/Stepdown units using evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient treatment plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with precise clinical interventions
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree with 2+ years ICU/Stepdown experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
