Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care planning for weekend patient population
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Document patient progress accurately in EMR systems
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor junior staff and orient new weekend team members
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- BSN or associate degree with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat/Sun 7a-7p)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced weekend care environment
