Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with critical thinking
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Mentor junior staff and uphold infection control standards
- Participate in weekend unit leadership rotations for seamless care continuity
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Spanish language proficiency preferred (not required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
