Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional direct patient care in specialized units including ICU, ER, and Oncology
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient responses accurately in electronic health records
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN, TNCC)
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and critical care
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Commitment to weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
