Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or medication side effects to the supervisor immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Administer medication and document dosages accurately according to care plans.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with errands when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
