Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social engagements
- Light housekeeping and errand services to maintain client environments
- Comprehensive documentation of care activities and client observations
- Build trust through respectful communication and emotional support
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid NJ driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification (training provided if needed)
- Strong attention to detail and reliable transportation
- Empathetic communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Physical ability to assist with mobility transfers
