Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and rehabilitation exercises
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Serve as a key communication link between patients and healthcare team
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital or long-term care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
