Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with patient hygiene, mobility, and personal care
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support nursing staff with clinical procedures and treatments
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments
- Communicate patient updates to healthcare team
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility protocols
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with day/night shift availability
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
